Welcoming Charming Su
PDi Digital is delighted to welcome our new Head of APAC Business Operations, Charming Su. With his extensive knowledge of both digital signage technology and the Asian-Pacific business environment, it’s an appointment with the potential to create enormous positive impact.
Charming Su brings unique expertise to the PDi-Digital team. As a recognized industry expert with a wealth of experience in technology, business development, and project management, Charming comes highly recommended from our shareholders at SES-imagotag. There, he was recently head of Projects, Operations and R&D for the entire Asia-Pacific region.
Charming is hoping to hit the ground running in his new role: “I’ll be looking to leverage my experiences of industrial, e-paper displays, retail shelf labels and solution integration to expand business in the APAC region. A high-potential growth company like PDi Digital is the perfect opportunity to do so.”
On a more personal note...
Originally from Tainan, Taiwan, Charming Su is a dedicated father and family man. While his 12-year-old daughter keeps him on his toes, Charming’s working life has certainly kept him busy too. In a career punctuated by key leadership roles. – including Vice President of Business Development and Field Applications at Pervasive Displays Inc. – he is one of Asia’s best-connected people in the industrial IoT device and low-power display markets.
Still on excellent terms both Pervasive Displays and SES-imagotag, he will be looking to his former employers to help his new one succeed.
“The ultimate goal would be to link Pervasive Displays’ e-paper display applications with PDi Digital’s IIoT solutions, helping SES-imagotag group and PDi Digital become the world’s number one in the industrial and non-retail markets. It’s a big task, but I wouldn’t have joined if I didn’t think it were possible”.
“PDi Digital was attractive to me because of the unique focus on industrial sectors. It’s a chance to actively integrate the latest technologies to solve customer pain points in various work fields. With my experience in system integration, solution deployment, and project implementation, I feel like I am well-placed to do that. I am one of the few candidates who can jointly lead technology and business development in the APAC region.”
