Adding at least one Object is mandatory for the system to work. Objects represent the physical entity on which the Digital Display is mounted. It can be a box, a shelf, a working station, a machine or a desk. Objects hold the data which should be rendered on the Digital Display.   To add a new Object, navigate to the Control Center in the left navigation bar. In the appearing top menu, click the menu entry “Objects”.   You will see either an empty list of Objects or the previously added once. In order to add a new entry, click on the “+” in the right top corner and fill out to fields in the opening dialog.

Fields

  • Object ID Fill out the Object ID and give your Object a valid unique reference ID
  • Device IDs Add out one or more Device IDs (shown on the product stickers of the devices)
  • Custom Fields Custom Fields are there to add dynamic data of your interest. All data is accessable in the templates and can be shown on the Digital Displays.
